Our Services
Innocent Driver provides accident management services to drivers and motorcyclists who have been involved in a road traffic accident that wasn’t their fault. Our service is designed to help customers manage the claims process following a non-fault accident and includes:
The availability of services will depend on the circumstances of the incident and confirmation of liability.
Cost of the Service
Our accident management service is free for non-fault drivers and motorcyclists to use where liability rests with another driver and can be established. In these circumstances, we recover our costs from the insurer of the driver responsible for the accident. If liability for the accident is disputed, or if recovery of costs from the at-fault insurer is not possible, we may be unable to proceed with the claim. Where this is the case, our team will offer guidance on the best next steps.
Replacement Vehicles
Where justifiable, we will arrange a like-for-like replacement hire car or motorbike for you to use while your vehicle is being repaired or until your claim is resolved. While we aim to provide a vehicle in the same category as your own, vehicle types may vary depending on availability and the specific circumstances of the claim.
Vehicle Repairs
Where repairs are required, we will arrange for your vehicle to be repaired through our approved repair network. Repair timelines may depend on the availability of parts, the complexity of the repair, and confirmation of liability from the at-fault insurer.
Insurance Notification
Even if you choose to use our accident management service, you may still be required under the terms of your motor insurance policy to notify your insurer that an accident has occurred. You should check the terms of your policy and notify them as required.
Personal Injury
If you have suffered an injury as a result of a road traffic accident, we can introduce you to an independent solicitor who specialises in personal injury claims. We do not charge you for making this introduction. Any legal services provided will be delivered by the solicitor under their own terms and conditions.
