When will you repair my vehicle?

As soon as your claim is accepted, we’ll get to work doing what we do best and take steps to arrange a repair estimate and get you a replacement vehicle. Are my repairs guaranteed?

Will I have to pay my insurance excess?

Once we accept your claim, you will not be required to pay your excess to us, the repairer or any other third parties.

Will I be given a replacement vehicle while mine is being repaired?

We know how essential your vehicle is in your daily life, which is why we can provide you with a replacement vehicle similar to your own, until the repairs are completed.

What if my vehicle is a total loss (insurance write off) and can’t be driven?

In this case, we can provide you with a replacement vehicle until you receive your settlement payment.

Will claiming through Innocent Driver® affect my No Claims Discount?

Depending on your policy, you may have to report the claim to your insurer (you should always check your policy). However, as reporting the claim won’t result in any costs going against your own policy, it shouldn’t affect your No Claims Discount.

How much do you charge for your services?

We won’t charge you for our services. We claim our costs directly through the insurer of the driver who’s at fault for causing the accident. The only exception to this is if you present us with misleading or fraudulent information. In other words, if you’re straight with us, then you’ve got nothing to worry about.

Do I have to put my claim through Innocent Driver®?

No, you are under no obligation to process your claim through Innocent Driver®. You can either claim directly from the driver at fault’s insurer, or through your own insurer, which ever works best for you.

Are you able to help me or my passengers if we were injured in our accident?

Yes, we have an expert panel of experienced personal injury lawyers that we can recommend. They can help you recover losses such as lost earnings as well as compensation that you may be entitled to.

How do you make your money?

You have the Innocent Driver® promise that you won’t have to pay us a penny.We make our money from the hire car, repairs and solicitor fees, all of which are billed to the insurer of the other driver.

What happens if you and I were wrong and I am actually found to be at fault?

We check to make sure that the other driver is insured, and then we get an admission of liability from their insurer before starting any repairs. So, you can rest assured that there’s no risk of comeback on our customers.
